Interview With Justin

Interview With Justin (My Dad’s Work Partner)

Mason: *What is your favorite sport and why?

Justin: I’d have to say baseball. The sport is calming, and you can realize how hard it is to pitch and catch. Also, there are some cool catches and awesome home runs!

Mason: *What is your favorite sports team and why?

Justin: I like the reds best. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, and my family always rooted for them, so that’s the only team I grew up knowing and liking, and I still do.

Mason: *Explain your opinion on the whole “Donald Sterling Racist Comments” situation.

Justin: I don’t know much about it, but I feel it is very wrong to make racial comments towards anyone, and I think he deserves to be stripped as president of the clippers, and fined big time!

Mason: *Who do you think will win the nba championship? Why?

Justin: I think the spurs will because tony Parker and Tim Duncan are just too dominate and after losing last year, they won’t let to happen again.

Mason: *How do you feel about the protection of quarterbacks in the nfl?

Justin: I think it’s ok to protect them, but it’s getting out of hand! You can’t grab them by the head anymore or hit them low while another teammate hits him high. I realize it’s the scariest position on the field, but people love seeing huge sacks, and it’s the quarterbacks fault if they get hurt because they chose to be a quarterback.

Mason: Thank you for your time.

Justin: No problem!

What Makes Football Awesome

I love football because it is fast-paced and emotional. There are so many different ways to see the outcome of a football game, whether that’s getting blown out, or a last second touchdown. Slow sports bore me, but that’s unlike football. Also, there are some crazy plays! You could whiteness the biggest hit you’ve ever seen, or the craziest catch you’ve ever seen. The fact of the matter is that in football you never know what’s going to happen, where crazy plays happen, and is a quickly played game.

Applewhites Impression

So far, I don’t like the book Surviving the Applewhites. First, it starts off really slow. The book isn’t even that large, we’re on chapter 4, and we haven’t even gotten to the build up parts yet. Second, it includes bad-doings. This book is about a kid who gets kicked out of every school he goes too, looks sort of creepy, may have even burnt down one of his schools, and smokes cigarettes. Now the goal is to get him to not be a bad student anymore, and have him learn to be a good student by taking after this girl named E.D., but telling us he looks like a wack job, burns down places, and smokes is a little excessive. Third, this book doesn’t focus on one thing at a time. At one point they will talking about Jake, then boom, a switch-eroo happens, and a girl is eating cereal. It confuses me, and I wish they wouldn’t do that. This isn’t the worst book I’ve ever read, and it has a nice plot, but it’s confusing and slow. I hope it gets better down the road!

Passion

Passion, to me, means hard work and perseverance. It means putting in the man hours to do what you must, in which is your passion. To have passion for something you need to have three key characteristics: good attitude, enthusiastic, and persistency. If you have a bad attitude, you obviously don’t have too much passion for what you’re doing in the first place then, and if you’re enthusiastic about what you’re doing, then you will do it better, while enjoying it! Last, if you can’t be persistent in times of failure in what you’re doing, then you aren’t cut out for doing it. With these 3 traits, you will succeed indefinitely.
